i started playing piano when i was 6 years old. the things is i never really focus on my piano because i never really appreciate what i had. i just play piano just to take the exams. i’m in grade 6 & in my final year in high school. i stopped practising piano three years ago due to some reasons. my piano skills is not that good. now, i feel like learning piano again. is it too late for me now?

I have a yamaha clavinova CVP 309 series digital piano. I heard that there was a 16-track recoring system which lets you create your own band, by yourself, so you can have different musical instruments playing at the same time. I don’t know how to use it. Can someone please explain to me how to use it, i appreciate all information & i am awarding 10 points to best answerer. Thanks in advance.

I need to audition for the music program at my college at the end of June & I need some suggestions. I pick up on things pretty quickly; I don’t want anything dead simple but I also can’t play anything very complicated because 1) I don’t want to be over my head in the course if I DID learn it & 2) I do have to learn it in a month. Any suggestions?

Sorry I don’t have much more detail, but it is a song with mainly a piano playing through out the whole song & it has no lyrics besides a man some what humming. It’s not like normal humming but he is making noise with his voice.

ok ive always wanted to play piano but my main but hold backs are that
1. im left handed
2. i have limited finger movements in my right arm
any1 have any tips on how to overcome this ?

For pianists, what is the most difficult thing about playing scales on the piano, & how can problems with the thumb be dealt with?

There was a song I used to love & just recently remembered an image I saw in the video clip. A woman (possibly Alicia Keys) playing piano with candles & a memorial for a deceased person on the piano? She also cries on the steps (which also have candles there) of this fairly run down looking house… Please if anyone knows what I’m talking about help me! I miss it so much!

This was a music video made in 2007 or 2008 I believe. All I remember is that it was featured on MTV several times, the guy was red head, & it was light rock kind of. I believe the artist was playing a piano in the video too. Anybody know who this is?

I think it’s from the 80’s. It gets all video game-y then a piano finishes off the song. It would be considered pop I’m sure. It’s driving me crazy. I can hear the tune of the piano but obviously you can’t google a sound in your head.

I know music; I play three musical instruments, but not guitar. I want to tune my mum’s old guitar to my piano, but I don’t know what the guitar strings are meant to be tuned to (like, what are the string’s open notes)?

I think they play this commercial way too much. And in my opinion, the girl that sings respect on the piano is not a very good singer. My ears cringe every time she sings because she’s kind of singing in the wrong tune. What do you think?

kindof longish hair, & playing a piano in the surf

it was either the generation game or something else. Where someone fairly famous played the piano chords – short tune – with pieces of wood with dowel on them. Assembled so that when he used different ones, they were in the correct position to play the chords.

Well, I quit piano at an early age. I recently tuned my piano, & want to pick it up again. I can play several two-handed pieces such as Chopsticks & Moonlight Sonata 1st mvt, however, There are also a ton of other classical pieces I can’t even touch. Is there a good piano method book to follow? (As for violinist, most would reccomend the suzuki method books) What are other pieces to further advance my skills?

I am trying to find versions of “Beyond the Sea” & “Mac the Knife” by Bobby Darin, & of “Come Fly With Me” by Frank Sinatra that only have the piano parts. A friend of mine is doing a show & wants to sing over them, but the piano player he was using sold their piano. Is there any way I can find these songs online, or any kind of key words I can use to search? Thanks for any help!

i need some soothing piano music that will help me go to bed. I have listened to bella’s lullaby by robert pattinson a gazillion times, owl city & sting a bunch,,, but i need some new music. any thoughts? I prefer JUST PIANO MUSIC… but if there is anything else feel free to help me out.

if I am trying to tune a piano & sound a note & a tuning fork together & hear 4 Hz. Then, hear 8 Hz after I tighten a string. Does this mean that I should have loosened the string instead of tightening it? I’m assuming the ideal is that when you sound the note & the tuning fork together you don’t hear anything?
