Piano Answers

I have couple of music sheet for a piano but i don’t have piano so will it still work when i play it on the keyboard

I make up many pieces on the piano but never have time to write them down, would it be possible to buy a device which would write down what i am playing in note form? If so what is it called?

I’ve been playing since I was 5, but how does that help me in life? ex:college… I don’t plan on becoming a famous pianist or anything. Or was just learning to play just a waste of time?

what annoys me is that it is portrayed as a ‘labour only’ problem, & in fact the tories have got this rich buffoon claiming for all this nonsense despite being considerably more wealthy than people like Hazel Blairs
Not that any of them were right to be so greedy, but they’ve basically all taken the lead off each other.

Just bought a Piano & is in need of a tuning in three months.
I am just wondering about the average tuning prices around the Greater London area in pounds please (£GBP, Sterling).
Also I was wondering whether i will need to go & take my piano to the tuner or are they mobile & service the piano in your own home?

i was up to level 4 twenty years ago but i havent play since.
how long will it take to get to level 8?
And can you go out a teach piano lessons if you reach level 8?

i’ve always wanted to learn how to play the piano because i want to be the one to accompany the choir in our church. the problem is i don’t have any idea how to learn. now, i’m planning to buy a keyboard so i could start my piano lessons. i don’t have anyone to teach i just search on the net for piano tutorials. would i be able to learn & for how long?

if it’s hot or cold will that mess up anything?

I just got a guitar & i learning how to play it, but I’ve also been playing the piano for 11 years, will the calluses that develop hurt my piano playing? Will it make my hands look ugly or will i have less feeling in my finger tips?

I’ve been playing the piano for a while an started boxing about a year a go. So far it hasn’t affected my piano playing but if I continue to box with it affect my fingers while playing the piano? Thanks.

I am trying to learn to play piano but when I press a note with my middle finger I involuntarily exert some force with my ring finger, (and vice versa) resulting in hitting both keys at once. Are there any excercises that can help me with this?

I’ve been playing the piano for about most of the summer & I’m getting pretty good at it. I can read tabs, chords, etc. I’m getting a guitar/bass next month & want to know if I can be able to use my knowledge of the piano on the guitar/bass. That & if I can get good fast.

I’m experiencing apartment life & there’s no way I can have a piano in my apartment. I’m just going to have to live without, but I’m afraid that I’ll forget how to play. Will I?

I love basketball, but I haven’t played on a team until now. I’ve been playing piano for 7 years (I’m not serious though, just for the fun & experience), & now I want to join a basketball team but my friend told me that if you sprain your finger, break it or something, then I can’t play piano anymore.

Considering that the budgets for Florida universities aren’t very good to begin with & with the recent financial crisis will having a prepaid tuition affect my chances of getting into UF & FSU??
By the way I have 4.6 GPA, passed 4 AP exams, in IB Program, very involved in music (piano & violin for 10 years) & have 2 leadership positions in clubs

Well, I was considering learning guitar, but my piano teacher told me that when guitarists play their fingers develop a tough skin & this may effect my ability to control pressure on my fingers as well as without playing guitar.
Is this true?
