I’m humbly asking how I can improve singing..
people have been saying that it was pitchy…well, I don’t know…all I know is that I play guitar while singing, so that adds difficulty to it…some said that it I was whiny…I have to tell you, I’m a nasal singer…Vanessa H or Emily O style…sooo there…

I’ve been playing piano for a while now (about 6 years on & off, recently self-teaching) on a player piano that is about 80-100 years old, given to my family as a gift. While it has a gorgeous sound, it is often out of tune. I have recently began playing contemporary pop, country, & alternative pieces in order to get back into playing, as well as to improve my voice. I’m worried that singing to an out-of-tune piano (being so old, it gets out of tune really fast when we have it tuned) will get my voice into some bad habits, so I’ve been wanting to save up for a keyboard. No maintenance costs, plus the privacy of practicing in my room. I’d like one that is under $250. Also, are there any models that have a microphone to record my singing? This is not necessary, though. Any brand/model recommendations?

I’ve recently fallen in love with the song “Arigatou” by Kokia & I’d love to play it on guitar/piano, so I’m wondering if there’s any chance that someone knows where I can find the chords for this beautiful song? What is a good keyboard for beginners & a good instruction manual or book? How can I learn? I will not go to lessons though, I need to learn on my own time. What can I do?

My guitar is E-A-D-G-B-E. My piano has two black keys & three black keys with white keys inbetweenst the black.

The thumb, first, & middle fingers are the strongest & a lot of times, the notes that are played by them stand out when they’re not supposed to. On the other hand, the ring & pinky finger are the weakest & sometimes it’s hard to have them play very loudly when you need them to like at the peak of a song. What are some ways I can train my fingers to have equal strength??

I have WTC Book I, Complete Beethoven Sonatas, Complete Chopin Etudes & Scherzi, Liszt Concert Etudes, Schumann’s Fantasiestueck, & all the Rachmaninoff Preludes, along with other random stuff. What would be a good investment before college?

I am trying to learn how to play the piano, but the problem I am having is that my left hand wants to do what my right hand does. Its hard for me to play chord progressions with my left hand because it wants to play the melody my right hand is playing. How do I overcome this???
