Is it nesscessary to have great piano skills to operate a microkorg synth effectively?

okay , it’s a tune , no words … everyone knows it , it’s really popular ,
.. i’m just looking for the title ….
the main instrument is a trumpet & it plays the tune ( this may be difficult to follow but each dot is to wait a second )
du du du du du . . du DU du du du . . . du du du . du du du du du du . .
and that is repeated again …. to me , it sounds like a soldiers song , & if you have a piano , i learned the notes by ear & they go like so ………
A , A# , B , C , F , C , G , A , F , D …………………….
i think you’ll get the idea from there …
i’ve asked everyone & still no answers , i really need it for our school production , the real version , not piano or anything ..

I’ve been playing the guitar for seven years, & it’s a lot of fun. However, my dream is to compose piano music for video games and/or release my own music.
I have a piano at home, but can’t play it very well yet. I heard that at my school of choice you have to audition in order to get accepted into a music composition program. Is it possible to get a music composition degree without being able to play the piano well at the beginning?
