that song is just so nice i’ve been trying to find it but don’t know the name of it

I know music; I play three musical instruments, but not guitar. I want to tune my mum’s old guitar to my piano, but I don’t know what the guitar strings are meant to be tuned to (like, what are the string’s open notes)?

a piano tuner hears 3 beats per sec from the combined sound of the piano wire being played & a tuning fork. the wires are tightened & now the tuner hears 5 beats per sec.

I am looking for a free piano in my area & there are some available (upright), but of course they are old, which is fine with me. Other than the fact that there are probably gonna be fixes to be done & tuning.
Does anyone know how much tuning costs? How about if a key sticks?
And anything else you could think of..

I have an upright piano about 80 years old i had it professionaly tuned six months ago but it is now losing it’s pitch. I have an electric keyboard which i can adjust the pitch & tune with. However i do not have a tuning key & they seem a triffle expensive. Can i adjust each string with a small spanner or clock key to tune it against the keyboard or am i just being tight & should i call the fellow back to retune it once more. It cost’s about £150 a year to keep in tune at the moment.

CAN I STILL SAVE MY GIGANTIC DORMANT PIECE OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENT????

I have the tabs but it says i have to tune it to open D tuning.
I have a piano so i can tune it like that..
but i was lowering the low E peg to D but its not working..?
am i doing it right?

When piano accompany violin, pianist gives an A for violin to tune. Does pianist need to do that for flute too? If so, which note? Bflat?

Im just starting playing piano & Im having some trouble getting my hands to play the different parts. What are some good exercises to get my hands used to playing? Any tips are helpful. Thanks!

I know the answer is “it depends”. But sometimes my piano tuner takes 3 hours! This is for a 5-year old, 125cm (49″) upright, with nice agraffes–which I understand should make tensioning the strings a breeze.
This is the only tuner I’ve ever worked with so I don’t know how to compare with others. I think I’ve read in someone’s memoir (either Piano Shop on the Left Bank or Noah Adam’s Piano Book) that that a good tuner should take just an hour.

i need to find out an efficient & relitaivaly easy way to tune a decent upright piano. none of the notes are completely right, so this migh tbe hard.. please answr though

I have always wanted to play piano & I can remember when I was little my Grandmother playing a turn on the piano..it did not sound to complicated & it had an almost up beat/ happy tone..I am pretty sure it is popular because I have heard it before…any ideas what it might be? I know the is very vague

Piano tuning isn’t really a thing you can learn from a website. There’s a lot to it. You have to learn how to use a tuning lever on different kinds of tuning pins—very loose, jumpy, or whatever—and you need to develop your hearing so that you can hear the various aural tests to confirm your tunings are good. It’s much more complicated to tune than people think.
A person with perfect pitch isn’t listening the same way a piano tuner does & doesn’t need to be as accurate as a piano tuner has to be.

me & my dad recently bought a gas convection heater for the living room, even though it is far away from my piano ,(diagonal corners) would it still ..de-tune the strings?
