“trading Spouses” Question?
The show “Trading Spouses” gives each family $50,000 but the mom from the other family decides how it is spent. I was just wondering if there is a legally binding contract that prevents the families from spending the money that is not the way the other mom meant for it to be spent. I just watched an episode where the other mom gave $2,000 for a piano & the rest of the $48,000 to the little girl of the other family to receive upon her 18th birthday. Are the parents obligated to spend the money that way (they were poor & could have used that money for repairs & bills)?
