Piano Answers

I’d especially like to find music that is ALL Piano. I have a yamaha Clavinova piano. Most midi files have cheezy electronic background sounds. Where can I find MIDI files that are good arangements & especially ones that are only piano???
I know there are thousands of sites with midi files, but which sites have music that doesn’t suck?
(FYI, I like a bit of everything, but especially 90’s & up rock, pop, some opera, broadway, new age, & good piano tunes).

The song starts with the piano, & I believe some lyrics are like is there anyone out there somone save me or somethig like that. It is a sad song & used in tv dramas like rescue me.

What things happen in the brain the day someone masters reading music & piano that will happen everyday & every time they sit at the piano & prepare to read music & play the piano that will allow them to play song after song after song with no mistakes.

i’ve just started playing again after about 7 years. I believe we bought my Yamaha upright piano about.. 10years ago. I’ve noticed that starting from the keys around the middle C to the left side of the piano, the sound doesnt linger when you take your hands off the keys. probably needs to be tuned?
how often are you supposed to tune your piano? & how much is the price range in the denver area?

During the 300th episode of the Simpson’s, bart moved to a new loft. He later goes to a party that is being held by Tony Hawk. It turns out that Homer was able to see them over the internet through a camera. A piano song starts playing in the background to emphasize Homer’s loneiness. I was wondering if anyone by any chance knows what the name of that song is? I’ve been looking for this song forever.

Jean Sibelius: “Valse Triste”.
Fryderk(Fredrick) Chopin: check his “Preludes”; some are very mournful – “eerie”? Don’t know about that.
Sergei Prokofiev: “Cinderella” ballet; there are piano transcriptions of it.
Alexander Scriabin: “Etudes”; there are tons of them on You Tube(for piano): some so eerie & scary, they may frighten you: no “kidding”.

You know when you play on a keyboard the keys are light & it feels…I dont know…almost cheap.
But on a real piano it feels a lot better to play.
So do they make a keyboard that makes it feel like you are playing on a real piano?
What kind is it?

A bit of damage on the bottom part of the backboard. There was some vibration sound that did not sound normal, while looking I saw that someone had used some silicone & three screws were all the way into the backboard on a curved (sound plate ?) piece of wood that the strings run across. My question is,Can I find this piece or part & can it be repaired & is it costly?

I’m all new to piano..what would you advise me?(websites?)
