ok ive always wanted to play piano but my main but hold backs are that
1. im left handed
2. i have limited finger movements in my right arm

I am trying to learn how to play the piano, but the problem I am having is that my left hand wants to do what my right hand does. Its hard for me to play chord progressions with my left hand because it wants to play the melody my right hand is playing. How do I overcome this???
General Techniques Of Playing The Piano?
I try not to tense my arms when playing, but when I attempt a trill, turn, mordent etc., or when I try to play a fast passage, my fingers always tangle up & my wrists become sore afterwards. Is anything wrong with my playing?

Are There Any Advanced Techniques For Playing Piano Faster?
I am learning Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 & am able to play all of the cadenza-like parts at a respectable pace, but I can’t seem to achieve that “glissando” feel that all of the recordings have. Do I just need to keep practicing, or is there some special technique professionals use to play fast scales?
