Piano Answers

I am looking to play a piece for my last piano recital ever. I would like it to be stunning, emotional, & powerful. My skill level is intermediate- hard.
I wanted to play the Pathetique or one of Beethoven’s sonatas, but those are taken already. In the past I’ve played Liszt’s Etude in C Minor (revolution), Fantasie Impromptu, Piano Concertos & a bunch of others.
I’ve already talked to my piano teacher, & can’t really find anything right. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

My friend & I want to sing a song for Coffee House, a cabaret/talent show event. I am not the best of singers, but I do love to sing duets with my friend, who is an excellent soprano singer. I have exceptional piano skills, & just about any song can be in our repertoire. Other students have done many musical selections like Wicked & Phantom of the Opera, so we want to stay away from those. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any & ALL will be highly & greatly appreciated.

The song is a slower song & kinda a sad one. I watched the video once but I cant find it. The music video kinda shows a lot of things but i remember that he was playing the piano & it was raining I think.

Sorry I don’t have much more detail, but it is a song with mainly a piano playing through out the whole song & it has no lyrics besides a man some what humming. It’s not like normal humming but he is making noise with his voice.

There was a song I used to love & just recently remembered an image I saw in the video clip. A woman (possibly Alicia Keys) playing piano with candles & a memorial for a deceased person on the piano? She also cries on the steps (which also have candles there) of this fairly run down looking house… Please if anyone knows what I’m talking about help me! I miss it so much!

I’ve recently fallen in love with the song “Arigatou” by Kokia & I’d love to play it on guitar/piano, so I’m wondering if there’s any chance that someone knows where I can find the chords for this beautiful song? I’ve tried to Google it in English & Swedish with no luck. Unfortunately I’m a beginner at Japanese so I don’t have the skills to understand it even if I managed to find a site for it in Japanese.

I think it’s from the 80’s. It gets all video game-y then a piano finishes off the song. It would be considered pop I’m sure. It’s driving me crazy. I can hear the tune of the piano but obviously you can’t google a sound in your head.
