Piano Answers

I’ve been listening to Yann Tiersen’s piano playing & found some of his piano pieces very good, 8mm & Naval from the Tarbarly album are examples. I’d like to listen to more of the same, any suggestions?

I’m not quite sure where to begin in the world of jazz, which brings me here for some advice. I’d like to learn to play a few jazz pieces for solo piano as well as learn some jazz theory. My skill level is somewhere around intermediate, & I would describe the style I’m looking for as smooth and/or mellow.
Could anyone suggest some artists/composers who might be worth looking into?

The thumb, first, & middle fingers are the strongest & a lot of times, the notes that are played by them stand out when they’re not supposed to. On the other hand, the ring & pinky finger are the weakest & sometimes it’s hard to have them play very loudly when you need them to like at the peak of a song. What are some ways I can train my fingers to have equal strength??

It’s my first time, & I just wanted some tips for performing.

I am trying to learn how to play the piano, but the problem I am having is that my left hand wants to do what my right hand does. Its hard for me to play chord progressions with my left hand because it wants to play the melody my right hand is playing. How do I overcome this???

I’ve seen alot of guitar tabs for them but no piano music. I know for a fact they use alot of piano/keyboard in their songs.

What exactly does it indicate when the keys are a little lower than the rest on the rail? Is it a costly repair? Do the hammers need to be replaced?
The lady only wants $250.00 for it & it’s only 5 years old, but has not been played in 3.

I’m 19. I would love to play in some place, like some restaraunt or bar for some people. Do they even do this? Or maybe even some open piano bar, like kareoke but with a piano???

List as many as you’d like. They can be songs that include great piano solos/riffs (don’t know if that term applies to the keys) or just songs that include a great piano tune in the background. Thanks.

Ok. I start alright, but after 2 or more bars, I speed up. Is there some way to slow down & play according to the time signature provided?

Im looking for a specific one but i have no idea what its called, all i know is that ive definately heard it on some adverts (maybe for like lloyds bank or something)

Ok so due to holiday, i abandoned my piano for 3 weeks, now im struggling to get my speed n technique back to how it was before i left…. Any advice?
