I have already decided college that was easy. But i don’t know what i want to do (im finishing up my junior year soon.) Here is some info about me that might help.
I am a decent mechanic & i was thinking about doing that but I’m not sure i want to actually do that for a living.
I’m also slightly autistic with ADD & ADHD (i still don’t believe those last to) but that leads to me having very poor social skills (i can get along with some people but not if they are obnoxious & instigate me to talk).
I get good grades (high 80’s into the high 90’s)
I can play guitar (3 years), piano (2 years), violin (1 1/2 years) & write decent (or at least i have been told) short stories
I can’t stand being cooped up at a desk for an entire day
I’m pretty good with my hands & can repair stuff if i know what im doing
I do like being outside
I don’t want to have to travel
I was thinking of being a cop but i don’t want everyone to thing i am following my brother.

I love the result of playing a super advanced piano piece & many people know my for my piano skills. i am 15 yrs old & have a caring personality. i haven’t every had a girlfriend & i kinda want one. I’ve had my eye on someone in my school for a while now but i don’t know how to go about it. im not exactly attractive but im kinda smart. i want to learn a piano piece that impresses people & is fast moving.
So far i have learned the whole moonlight sonata ( Beethoven ) & the Fantasie impromptu by chopin, (i got really good in a piano compitition for this piece) i learned chopin etude no.9 & a few more random pieces.
im working on this Rachmaninoff prelude No. 5 in g minor, is this a good piece to impress people & impress this girl that i like?
or should i learn some more stuff? what should i learn that is beautiful?
i want to play some of these piano pieces for this girl but i dont know how to go about it, it’s just that we are kinda immature & stuff.

I was always in love with Music. In first grade I started playing the violin but then i quit the first year!!. I dont sing but I always wanted to try the Piano.. My mom said since a little kid she always wanted to play it.. I really want to try it since my mom is getting one for me but it seems really hard & iam scared if i cant do it.. Is there any tips or somethin like tht about piano or what make it easier to play it?

I am a teenager & I am a concert pianist. I go to a regular school & obviously have homework to do & a twice-a-week volleyball practice. At my age level & skill level, how long should I be practicing piano per day?

I just learned Beethoven’s Fur Elise & I don’t know what to learn next on the piano. I want something around the same skill level or a little higher, nothing lower. I want it to be classical, & solo. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I know how to do chord musics such as band songs, now I want to learn classic. What should I do each day? I am kinda busy, so I will be thanked more if you give some short-time-taking strategy that will boost my piano skills. Thanks:)

My grade is going to host a a show night at our school theatre & one of the organizers wants me to play some kind of James Bond genre of piano music. The problem is, I’m not sure about what this type of music IS. I’m supposed to play for 30 minutes before the show starts (which is James Bond themed. Go figure.) so it’s meant to be entrance music to set the mood for the night. Any level of piano music is fine. Thanks!

I’m playing modern music(anime music to be specific) for about 4-5 months & I’m really determined to enhance my piano skills cuz I really love hearing songs from the piano although I also like other classical music like canon & fantasie impromptu. So what do you think I should play, I’d appreciate it if u add any reasons to your answer. Tnx a bunch^_^

I’ve been playing piano for a while now (about 6 years on & off, recently self-teaching) on a player piano that is about 80-100 years old, given to my family as a gift. While it has a gorgeous sound, it is often out of tune. I have recently began playing contemporary pop, country, & alternative pieces in order to get back into playing, as well as to improve my voice. I’m worried that singing to an out-of-tune piano (being so old, it gets out of tune really fast when we have it tuned) will get my voice into some bad habits, so I’ve been wanting to save up for a keyboard. No maintenance costs, plus the privacy of practicing in my room. I’d like one that is under $250. Also, are there any models that have a microphone to record my singing? This is not necessary, though. Any brand/model recommendations?

Ok, so I have a friend & she is pianist but she is 12 years old. And her teacher told her about a high school teacher that really needs accompaniment for piano but she is afraid if its too much pressure, she can play pretty high level music but never took piano lessons, & yes there will be rehearsals.
So what do you think should she?

a piano tuner hears 3 beats per sec from the combined sound of the piano wire being played & a tuning fork. the wires are tightened & now the tuner hears 5 beats per sec.

I’m going to college, & I need to know what piano music I can get while I can still get it cheap from the local music store. I have WTC Book I, Complete Beethoven Sonatas, Complete Chopin Etudes & Scherzi, Liszt Concert Etudes, Schumann’s Fantasiestueck, & all the Rachmaninoff Preludes, along with other random stuff. What would be a good investment before college?

I’m natural at playing the piano. I can hear any song by ear & play it on the piano. But the problem is I absolutely HATE it!! My parents however are making me play the piano. What should I do, I have natural talent in piano & that’s why they are making me play it!!

I’m currently piano hunting & want to buy a second hand upright piano. Despite the obvious questions- when was the last time it was tuned & is there any hidden damage; are there any relevant & potentially vital questions which i could ask?
Also, do you think that it would be ok to base the piano in a conservatory? The temperature varies a little in there from the main house (around 2-3 degrees hotter or colder in summer/winter) Could this have a profound impact on the working/ tuning aspects of the piano?

OK, so I want to record myself playing piano & have been looking at recording equipment on the internet & have to admit I’m slightly baffled by all the different recording things. I want something really simple to use that I can easily put on the computer & it has to be quite cheap, but of course the sound to be good. Any ideas about what I should use?

ok, im gary, im 21 & from southern new york, dutchess county still at home. i need some suggestions based on my interests..
im a gamer, always wanted to make my own game. im a musician, i play guitar, drums, & learning piano. im a geek, i love computers, ive hacked my psp & many others for cash, made the pandora myself. & also i hacked my ipod. im always taking apart electronics & putting them back together for boredom or repair. i love adult swim, i can imitate almost any voice.
so as u can see, ive got natural talents & i wont let them to go to waste, i just cant decide on what to do. & ive procrastinated for 3 years already after graduating high school. can someone please help me lol??? & i also heard that you can get a quicker & cheaper degree online, & money is tight. but if i can find a cheap school i would rather do that.

12 years ago, I took a course & received a certificate as a Microcomputer Support Network Repair Technician. The course was really preparation for taking the A+ certification exam. I decided to go to work instead of continuing my studies. I then got very sick with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & couldn’t work, exercise or study at all. Now I am feeling better, & would like to know if there is any financial benefit to going after my A+ certification. I also have a B.A. in Music – skills in piano I never used except for accompanying for very little money & a short stint teaching piano. The tech climate was different 12 years ago – it was very hot. Now they have outsourced many of the tech jobs. But I have to do something. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance
