Piano Answers

I play viloin . Is violin , piano , & guitar the same notes ? Or do I have to totally learn all things new ? I was wondering if I should play guitar or piano . age 16 . girl .

I’m currently piano hunting & want to buy a second hand upright piano. Despite the obvious questions- when was the last time it was tuned & is there any hidden damage; are there any relevant & potentially vital questions which i could ask?
Also, do you think that it would be ok to base the piano in a conservatory? The temperature varies a little in there from the main house (around 2-3 degrees hotter or colder in summer/winter) Could this have a profound impact on the working/ tuning aspects of the piano?

Found a few uprights in the area that are around the same price. I’m not sure how age will effect a digital but I’m not interested in having the burden of needing a piano tuned but want weighted keys to practice on.
So when I call this lady what should I be asking about other than age, etc?

I’ve been playing the piano for like 4 years (i taught myself) & i have a few questions that i cant figure out.
What is tonic, leading note, & dominant?
I need a lot of information about I,IV,and V7 chords. I don’t really get how you figure that out or what it means.

Hi,
I’m trying to decide which dance i should take: ballet or hip hop? I take piano (classically trained, 8th year) so ballet might be a better choice. i’m 12 & most of my friends who do ballet started out @ 3, so is it too late for me?
i also want to get fit…so……
furthermore, what is a good dance school in vancouver that you could recommend? (good tuition fee, area preferably in richmond or ubc area, & good for beginners with no experience at all, professional teachers…)
