When Playing Piano, Are The Notes Played In The Bass Clef In A Different Key Than The Treble Clef?
I know the bass clef is played with the left hand & the treble played with the right. But when you are playing both at the same time, are the chords different? For example, playing A in the bass at the same time as playing C in the right. If this is true, why? I believe when playing pop music the bass note matches the notes on the guitar, piano, etc..

Usually guitars have their tuning knobs arranged in two rows. Only the tuning knobs on one side would hit three piano keys. The spacing of the knobs would have to line up with the spacing of the keys to even do that.

What Do Left-hand Notes Serve As In Piano Music?
I am teaching myself how to play the piano & I have had previous experience with playing the violin.
I am playing music from a famous song that I like, however the left-hand notes (the bottom ones) don’t sound like anything at all in the song. On the other hand, the right-hand notes seem to be the real melody that I actually recognize from the song.
