Piano Answers

Hi i recently bought a midi cable to plug into my midi piano so i can use my piano to make beats on my computer. The music program im using is fruity loops & it read the driver after i installed the driver & i enabled that as my midi controller. The problem now is that when i play on my piano, the music program im using isn’t reading the keys that im pressing…does anyone know what i have to do to correct this problem???…thanks in advance )

I’d especially like to find music that is ALL Piano. I have a yamaha Clavinova piano. Most midi files have cheezy electronic background sounds. Where can I find MIDI files that are good arangements & especially ones that are only piano???
I know there are thousands of sites with midi files, but which sites have music that doesn’t suck?
(FYI, I like a bit of everything, but especially 90’s & up rock, pop, some opera, broadway, new age, & good piano tunes).
