If I Threw A Guitar At A Piano, How Much Force Is Necessary To Make The Tuning Knobs Hit The Notes A,b,c,d,e,f?
Usually guitars have their tuning knobs arranged in two rows. Only the tuning knobs on one side would hit three piano keys. The spacing of the knobs would have to line up with the spacing of the keys to even do that.

Would This Make A Good Campaign Song?
It’s nine o’clock on a Saturday
The regular crowd gathers near
There’s a old man sittin’ next to me
Clinging to his religion & beer
He said, “Boy, let me say why you’re scarin’ me
It’s more than your funny last name
You’re mind is elite & you’re kind of effete
And it’s plain that we don’t look the same”
Uh, la-la-uh, diddy-dah
Uh-uh, diddy-dah…. uh, dah
Vote for a change with Obamaman!
Vote Hope & Change tonight!
Well, we’re all in the mood for the kool-aid
And you’ve got us drinking up right!
Now Dave at the bar is a friend of mine
He astroturfs blogs for me
He’s quick with an ad, & makes Palin look bad
But there’s someplace that he’d rather be
He says, “Man, I wish you’d have picked Hillary!”
And his smile clouded over with doubt
“Well I’m sure that your lead would be comfortable
Without Biden’s foot in his mouth!”
Uh, la-la-uh, diddy-dah
Uh-uh, diddy-dah…. uh, uhhhhhhhhh….
Now Wright is a firebrand reverend
Whom I’ve never met in my life
He’s reading Alinsky, who taught me strategy
For exploiting neighborhood strife
William Ayers got me started in politics
He thinks governments all should explode
We just happen to share some objectives
But to say that is racist in code!
[piano solo/teleprompter repair]
Don’t disagree with Obamaman!
Don’t bring my ideals to light
No, I’m not in the mood for real scrutiny
My truth squads will shut you up tight!
It’s a pretty good crowd for a debate
And the moderator gives me a smile
It’s her book about me that got her on TV
This event should be ours by a mile
All the questions sound like our talking points!
Got the media kissing my rear!
Got kids singing my fame, Germans chanting my name
Win or lose, it’s a hell of a year!
Uh, la-la-uh, diddy-dah
Uh-uh, diddy-dah…. uh, dah
Vote Hope & Change with Obamaman!
Vote for those smarter than you
We’ll run your whole life with impunity
Because we know better than you!

What Do I Want To Know About Piano Tuning If I Am Going To Make It My Profession?
First, you have to have the ear for it. Make sure you do.
Second, it is most often done as a small business. You’ll want
to study how to do all of the stupid things you have to do
for accounting, taxes, advertising, etc.
If you can afford to do it, I’d advise trying to contact people in your
area who are doing it now. You could work a summer as an
apprentice, or at the very least let them talk your ear off a bit.
How Can I Make Sure, That I Have “an Ear” For Piano Tuning?
Well I tune pianos & you ask how can you tell if you have the ear for it? I don’t know if there’s some kind of test to check your tuning ability, but I do know that it will improve with practice. How do you do at tuning say a guitar? To tune a piano by ear you must be able to hear the beats produced by two strings as they come close to unison.
I don’t know if you understand what I mean about beats. But you must be able be able to hear them if you are going to tune a piano by hear. If you were here I could point them out to you. But since your not let me suggest, with a guitar tune two strings to unison. When the strings are tuned true there should be no beats when both strings are sounded at once. Some guitars may give a beat even though the strings are true Because of bad strings or guitar neck.
So get the strings in tune then slowly move one of the string out of tune thats when you should hear the beats. The closer in tune the slower the beats until when in tune the beats stop.
The reason you must be able to hear the beats, they’re like a wave of beats. Is because a piano must be tuned a little out of tune. If not one key Like the Key of “G”, might sound good & the others not so good. Today they use what is called even temperament. Or equal distance between each note. So as you tune the strings first you put it in unison, no beats, then you raise or lower the string a number of beats per seconds. Or a little out of tune you’ll need a chart because each string is different. So before I write a book here let me end by saying this. If you can hear the beats, it’s like a wave of beats as a string comes close to unison or close to being in tune then you have an ear for tuning a piano. Practice trying to hear them. They’re there you just have to learn to pick them out. Try to imitate the beat wave with your voice. One good way to hear them is with & electric guitar turned up loud. So to sum up you got to hear the beat & be able to count the beats per second.
What Do You Want To Know About Piano Tuning If You Are Going To Make It Your Profession?
I assume that you are asking what you will need to know, since unless someone wants to make a career of it, they would ask you, not look for people offering information.
You would need to know about the chords that each “note” creates since there is 3 strings for each note. Now the equipment that you will need is minimum a tuning fork & a trained ear. On up to digital tuners that could get pricey.
Good luck.
