What Is Some Good Intermediate Jazz For Solo Piano?
I’m not quite sure where to begin in the world of jazz, which brings me here for some advice. I’d like to learn to play a few jazz pieces for solo piano as well as learn some jazz theory. My skill level is somewhere around intermediate, & I would describe the style I’m looking for as smooth and/or mellow.
Could anyone suggest some artists/composers who might be worth looking into?
What Is A Good Piano Piece To Audition With To Demonstrate An Intermediate Skill Level?
I need to audition for the music program at my college at the end of June & I need some suggestions. I pick up on things pretty quickly; I don’t want anything dead simple but I also can’t play anything very complicated because 1) I don’t want to be over my head in the course if I DID learn it & 2) I do have to learn it in a month. Any suggestions?
