Be nice about it & let her down easily. Just say something like,
“The piano isn’t really something you have going for you. Try a new hobby.”
Lol, maybe even bribe her to stop?

Try ignoring her if she is just doing it to pester you, this may work. If she is a learner, there isn’t much you can do. Talk again with your Mom about the amount of time she plays.

Honestly? I say fight fire with fire. I might not be the best at the brother/sister thing but I am at getting what I want. Give her an ultimatum. Play an instrument that you have no idea about & wait till she gets tired of it then tell her that if she stops you stop. OR. You can help her. Try to learn if you don’t already know how. If you do then try to teach her a well. Sorry if this doesn’t help.

Slap Georgia up side the head & tell her that she sounds like glass breaking as a cat is screaching & dying & Clare you know how to stop this you do it all the time!Well fight at least & you are way smarter & better than her don’t tell her I said that though but you can solve this & I’m not kidding & don’t be mad but I can’t always vote yours as best I try to though
