How Long Does It Take A Piano To Fall Out Of Tune?

I’ve been playing piano for a very long time now, but I never really bothered to have mine tuned. Now it sounds ancient.

Moving a piano to a new house will do it immediately. Placing the piano on an exterior wall will put it out of tune, too. Pianos need to be tuned regularly, even in the best of conditions. It can fall out of tune overnight with a change in temperature. The untrained ear would never be able to detect it tho.
