No it is not weird. Exactly how is that going to cause others to think bad about her??
“Wow that Chang girl! Most Chinese girls start piano at like age 4, so she’s way behind!”
Not at all– most kids who start playing the piano younger, like 7 or 8, burn out fast & then never play the piano again. Tell her that she should go for it!
Not at all. I started at age 12 & I know others that started playing at even later ages. Learning to play an instrument is fun & rewarding for anyone at any age.
Of course not. I started when I was 11 & now I’m 15 & still play regularly. It’ll only get her compliments if she can play. Plus its a lot of fun. If you enjoy it then it doesn’t matter what they think.
Dude, go ahead. Anytime to learn the piano is a good time. I’m a beginner in Piano 101 & I’m sixteen. Learning the piano is one of those things where even if you know a little bit, you’re better than half of the people in this country. Also, playing the piano is a great way to show off. ;P I have a friend who does that ALL the time. And why should she be scared of what others think? Their opinions don’t amount to a hill of beans. Heck, people who judge her about her playing the piano probably don’t know how to play it themselves.
