Can Electronic Pianos Be Repaired?
My Suzuki piano keeps reverting back to pitch bend range of 2 when I shut it off & then turn it back on. I need to reset it if I want to play piano. Is this non fixable? My piano is about 5 years old.

Most electronics can be repaired – but sometimes due to integrated circuitry, it is cheaper to get something new. I own 5 electronic keyboards – & a Steinway grand piano, as well as thousands of dollars worth of other instruments, acoustic, & electronic – & most things have had a trip to the shop. Some instruments see service every 6 months to a year – it is the nature of the instrument & the amount of professional use it gets.
I have owned a Suzuki – you may wish to just *move on*. A lot has developed in the last 5 years, & you must have gotten your nickel’s worth by now.

5 years is a lifetime for electronic ANYTHING… since technology doubles every 5 years… just buy a new one… most electronics can’t be repaired if it’s in the electronics… because the chips are use specific & proprietary… & it will cost more to fix it that it’s worth.
